Privacy what we collect and why

What we collect from you

• Your email address, to log you in and to send you emails that visitors leave.
• Your site’s address and the text we read from up to 30 public pages of it.
• The testimonials and screenshots you add.
• Two cookies: one keeps you logged in, and one remembers a site you set up before you logged in. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

What we collect from visitors to your site

• The questions they type into the box, so we can answer them and show them to you.
• A random ID kept in their browser’s storage, so we can limit how many questions one person asks in an hour. We store a one-way code made from that ID and their IP address, never the IP address itself.
• Their email address, only if they choose to leave it when the box can’t answer. We send it to you, the site owner.

The box doesn’t set cookies on your site. You may still want to mention it in your own privacy policy.

Who processes the data

• Cloudflare hosts the app and stores the database and screenshots.
• Anthropic’s Claude models read your site text, your screenshots and visitor questions to write the fact sheet and the answers.
• Resend sends login links, visitor emails and billing emails.
• Dodo Payments takes your card and payments. Your card number goes to Dodo, never to us. We keep only Dodo’s customer and subscription IDs and your plan’s status and dates.

We don’t sell data, and we don’t share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete a testimonial, its screenshot is deleted too. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and its data within 30 days.

Your choices

You can see, change and delete your testimonials at any time on your dashboard. For a copy of your data, or to delete your account, email hello@getfaqify.com.
