What this is

FAQify is an FAQ box you add to your website. It reads your site, answers visitor questions from it, and shows the customer testimonials you add. It is built and run by Aditya Menon. It is in beta, so it may change or have problems.

Payments

Dodo Payments sells FAQify to you as the merchant of record. That means Dodo takes your payment and handles sales tax and VAT.

• To show the box on your own site, you add a card and start a 2-day free trial. Each website gets one free trial. The test box on FAQify’s own pages needs no card.
• When the trial ends, your card is charged $9 a month plus tax where it applies, while FAQify is in beta, until you cancel. Beta sites keep that price. Later the price for new sites will be $14 a month.
• You can cancel anytime from your dashboard, with Manage billing.
• There are no refunds, including for part of a month.
• After you cancel, or if a payment fails and Dodo can’t collect it, the box keeps working until the end of the time you paid for. Then it hides itself.

Testimonials must be real

• Only add words that a real customer actually wrote or said about your product.
• Get the customer’s permission before you show their words on your site.
• Don’t change the words in a way that changes what they mean. Fixing a word that was read wrong from a screenshot is fine.
• Crop out phone numbers, other people’s names and anything private before you upload a screenshot.

If we find fake, invented or paid-for testimonials, or ones used without permission, we remove the account. In the US, a 2024 FTC rule bans fake reviews and testimonials, and many other countries have similar laws. You are responsible for following the laws where you sell.

Your content

Your site text, testimonials and screenshots stay yours. You allow us to store and process them only to run the box for you: to read your pages, write answers and show your testimonials on your site.

Answers written by AI

An AI model writes the answers from the facts we read on your site. It is told to use only those facts, and every answer links to the page it came from, but it can still make mistakes. Check the preview, keep your site accurate, and re-read your site after you change it. You are responsible for what your site and your box tell visitors.

Fair use

Don’t use the box to mislead people, to collect data you aren’t allowed to collect, or to overload the service. During the beta each account gets 1 site, up to 1,000 visitor questions a month and up to 50 testimonials.

Stopping

You can stop at any time: cancel from your dashboard and remove the code from your site. To delete your account and its data, contact us. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. If we close the product, we will try to tell you by email at least 30 days before.

No guarantees

The service is provided as it is, without guarantees. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost sales or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
